About the Team: Join Smart IT as a Product Operations Senior Analytics Engineer, working with a global, data-driven team to influence product improvements and inspire action. Partner with Product Management, User Experience, and Engineering to enhance customer solutions using data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities: 🔵Manage critical data assets, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and serve as the Source of Truth. 🔵Build and maintain performant data models and pipelines for efficient analysis. 🔵Develop and refine analytics infrastructure (Snowflake SQL, dbt, LookML, Git). 🔵Codify coding standards, documentation requirements, and development processes. 🔵Train global teams on data analytics tools and best practices, enhancing efficiency and collaboration. 🔵Act as a technical lead, defining processes for SQL query optimization, data modeling, and reporting.

Requirements: Development 🟡Technical Execution: 3+ years of experience with advanced SQL, using CTEs, nested queries, and optimizing complex datasets in relational databases or cloud warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery). 🟡ETL/ELT Expertise: Proven ability to design and manage multi-step ETL/ELT workflows, with experience in tools like Airflow or dbt. 🟡Code Management: Proficiency with GitHub for version control, code reviews, and peer collaboration. 🟡Data Architecture: Understanding of data pipelines, architecture diagramming (e.g., Lucidchart), and refactoring existing projects for optimization. Analytics: 🟢Strong understanding of structured/unstructured data and analytics workflows. 🟢Experience creating documentation for technical designs, data standards, and user-facing content. 🟢Familiarity with BI tools like Looker (LookML, dashboards) or similar tools (Tableau, Power BI). 🟢Skills in JSON flattening and extracting nested data elements. Team Enablement: 🟡Training: Proven experience onboarding and training distributed teams in remote/global settings. 🟡Communication: Strong ability to deliver clear guidance through diverse formats—videos, wikis, presentations, and workshops. 🟡Process Optimization: Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance team performance. 🟡Collaboration: Ability to align diverse teams around consistent data definitions and standards.

Preferred Qualifications: 🔵Experience with data pipeline management tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Talend). 🔵Knowledge of data quality assurance and validation in analytics environments. 🔵Strong focus on scalability, clarity, and team success in defining best practices. 🔵English: C1+ proficiency required. 🔵Russian: B2+
