Hi ,

I hope this message finds you well!

I took some time to reflect before responding because I wanted to be thoughtful in my reply. When you mentioned “you’re not consistent,” it came across as judgmental and even a bit condescending. I don’t believe you intended it that way, and since you’re working hard to make sales on LinkedIn—a task I know can be incredibly challenging—I thought some feedback might help.

Now, let me get back to you with some advice of my own 🙂

1. Reframe potential negatives: The “not consistent” comment is what triggered me. While it may not affect everyone the same way, it’s a risk you don’t want to take if you’re aiming for higher conversion rates. Instead of starting with a perceived negative, try a “double positive” approach. For example: I noticed you’ve been posting weekly, which is fantastic for staying connected with your audience. To take your visibility to the next level, I’d love to share a few tips for staying consistent and maximizing engagement…

2. Minimize Unsolicited Advice: Even when delivered politely, unsolicited advice can feel intrusive or presumptuous. While not everyone will react negatively, some potential customers might, which could hurt your conversion rates. • One option is to skip the advice altogether and focus on building a connection first. • Alternatively, you can acknowledge the nature of your advice upfront, as I just did when I said, “Let me get back to you with some advice of my own.” Acknowledging it can make your intentions clearer and soften the impact.

3. Check with ChatGPT for Tone: I used it to review your message, and it flagged several issues. While I skipped most as lower-priority for this context, it’s a great tool for keeping your tone polished and professional if you’re new to the corporate game.

4. Also, some of the advice Chatgpt gives is bullshit. For instance, its revisions of your message still had issues, like the unsolicited advice problem.

I’m the founder of my own communication school and always on the lookout for ways to hack communication and cut through such noise. If you’d like more tips or to explore this further, feel free to respond to this message 🙂

Best regards, Alexandra
