Head of Human Resources Department/HR Generalist/HRD International Brands
Key Responsibilities: — Recruitment Management & Freelance Recruitment Coordination; — Hire Freelance Recruiters: Identify and hire freelance recruiters from multiple platforms (e.g., Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn) to support the talent acquisition process; — Set Clear Tasks and Deadlines: Assign specific recruitment tasks to freelancers, ensuring clarity on job requirements, deadlines, and expectations; — Monitor and Evaluate Performance: Regularly review the performance of freelance recruiters, track progress against recruitment goals, and adjust strategies as needed to optimise results; — Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on recruitment activities and outcomes; — Workflow Optimisation & Cross-Departmental Collaboration; — Improve Workflow Efficiency: Work with department heads to identify inefficiencies in current processes and implement improvements; — Enhance Working Environments: Partner with management teams to create positive and productive working environments that foster employee engagement and satisfaction; — Collaborate on KPIs and Working Instructions: Work with various departments to establish clear working instructions and measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve performance; — Support Employee Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, collaborating with team leaders to address training needs and career development opportunities; — Legal Compliance & Policy Oversight; — Stay Updated on Employment Laws: Regularly communicate with legal advisors to stay informed on changes to employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (France, Germany, Spain, USA, Panama, Costa Rica etc.); — Review Hiring and Firing Procedures: Collaborate with external legal advisors to ensure recruitment, hiring, and termination processes are legally compliant and aligned with best practices; — Policy Development: Help to update and enforce HR policies in line with local labor laws, corporate values, and organizational goals; — Risk Management: Advise leadership on potential legal risks associated with HR practices and propose mitigating actions.
Required Qualifications: — 5+ years in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position; — Proven experience in managing external recruiters and/or freelance recruitment processes internationally; — Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law; — Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-departmental organisation; — Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; — Excellent organisational and time management skills; — Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously; — Proficient with HR software and online recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, etc.); — Analytical mindset with the ability to assess workflows, create actionable plans, and implement changes; — Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (a Master’s or relevant certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus); — Experience with international recruitment or HR practices; — Familiarity with working in dynamic or rapidly scaling organisations; — Ability to understand and navigate the labour law in different countries.
