About the project:
A US-based startup (currently operating from Dubai) is building a modular AI platform that enables users to create, connect, and monetize intelligent agents (AIPs) through a no-code/low-code interface. The platform includes a visual workflow builder, real-time chat with media support, subscription and licensing features, a user dashboard, and tools for integration and scalability.
Tech Stack: Python (Backend), React, Node.js, scalable backend infrastructure, secure API integrations, FastAPI, file/code scanning.
Responsibilities:
-Technical Leadership: Audit and refactor the existing Python backend codebase, make key architectural decisions, and guide integration processes. -Development: Finalize core backend features and ensure seamless integration with the frontend (React). -Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable backend architecture for a complex SaaS platform. -Collaboration: Work closely with the frontend team to deliver a fully functional platform and support QA, staging, and production readiness. -Knowledge Transfer: Collaborate with client-side engineers for effective knowledge sharing. -Process Participation: Engage in regular team processes managed directly by the client.
Requirements:
-5+ years of commercial Python development experience. -Proven background in developing and architecting complex SaaS platforms or AI-powered tools. -Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer with ownership of codebase audit, architecture, and technical decisions. -Strong knowledge of scalable backend architecture and design patterns. -Experience with API integrations, data security, and DevOps-related tasks. Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
