Cash gap or manageable liquidity shortage?

I see the difference, but I do not like managing either option. In both cases, it requires a lot of emotional resources while dealing with people whose bills have to be optimized.

This is about spending a lot of time on discussions and explanations of the necessity to correct someone’s expectations and force them to take the required actions to do the best in that particular situation.

Each case trains you a lot to manage liquidity and understand everything about payments. However, it has a drawback: you stop enjoying discussions.

The difference between the two options is clear. This is about the time you have in each case to be prepared to solve issues, and I do not like to be in a hurry. I want to be prepared and have full information beforehand. Such an approach allows you to propose the best option with particular steps that have to be taken.

Treasury is an important part of the financial function. My ideal treasury management should take no more than 30% of full-time hours, or even less, with a focus on strategic finance, development, modern instrument application and peace in the workplace.
