Enabling people leads to great CX

We don’t have a CX problem.

We have a fear problem.

Employees are not slow because they don’t care. They’re slow because they’re afraid to decide.

Afraid to: – make the wrong call – break a rule – get blamed

So what do they do?

They escalate. They delay. They stick to the script.

Not because they want to.

Because it’s safer.

And “safe” kills Customer Experience.

Enabling people means removing that fear.

It means: – not punishing well-intentioned decisions – supporting judgment, not just compliance – making it safe to act, even if it’s not in scripts

Because great CX doesn’t come from perfect decisions.

It comes from human ones.
