🔠🔠🔠⏺️🔠🔠🔠🔠 Here comes an autumn spooky recommendation! 👻
Discovered last year and still making me happy this year, I tear this recommendation from my heart and share it with you, lovely folks! Witty, light, hilarious, a wonderfully diverse cast of monsters and incredibly imaginative! Meet - Haunted Hotel 💜 One of many things I adore about Haunted Hotel is its characters. They’re weird, flawed, unpredictable, and each has their own personality, which you can relate to. And that’s exactly what makes the humour work so well!
The jokes don’t feel random or formulaic. A lot of the comedy comes from the dialogue, the characters’ personalities, and the way they interact with each other. Sometimes, it’s not even what they say, but how they say it.
And that makes it a great show for learning English, too!
✨ Why I’d recommend it foryou, English lovers: ➖ natural, conversational English (well, dah, as in every single modern show) ➖ the humour helps you understand tone, sarcasm, and implied meanings! (but be ready to rewatch it several times if you're a newbie) ➖ you can pick up expressions that make more sense in context than they would in a vocabulary list (that's a skill you either develop or don't)
love how they tease each other, react, exaggerate, and express their personalities through language 🍓 and Abaddon is a gem! literally me! So if you enjoy animated comedy with a slightly spooky twist, Haunted Hotel might be worth adding to your watchlist 👀
